Siberian Tigers have always inspired a feeling of spine tingling awe whenever I have watched zoo animals. The fact that these big cats roam the Siberian forests and wilderness makes you consider how you would feel if you came face to face with one in the wild. The Hidden King shows a large Tiger emerging from the cover of its forest habitat, attention fixed on some noise or movement . The focus of the painting is the tiger’s handsome face but I can recall enjoying painting the dead tree just as much as the big cat. Original for sale £4500 and prints are available.
