Acrylic 13 x 28" (Sold)
This painting was completed after a safari into a remote part of Botswana during a long drought. Water was so scarce but this group of bull elephants had found a shrinking waterhole amongst the mopane trees in which to stand and drink. The Saddlebill Stork was added to give a bright splash of colour in the silvery greyness. The Impalas a sense of movement in the heat. Prints available.
