This September I will be exhibiting with my lovely artist friend, Tracy Dovey at the New Forest Heritage Centre in Lyndhurst, New Forest, Hampshire. We have the gallery space for the whole month and the exhibition explores our connections to the New Forest from our childhood and the influence it has had on our creativity. My work focuses on nature as the inspiration for my paintings and the exhibition features several new pieces including the ones shown in the blog. Tracy looks at the human side of forest life through the years, the folklore, traditions and laws which have impacted inhabitants of the New Forest up to the present day. Homelands looks at the importance of home for both wildlife and people in this unique place. We hope you come along and have a good look at the exhibition. We will be in the gallery for a Meet the Artists day on September 21st 11 am - 4pm and on a few dates throughout the exhibition.
ENTRY TO THE MUSEUM AND GALLERY IS FREE.
