WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

On this day workshop we will be painting a bluebell wood using  photo reference with easy to follow steps from drawing to finished painting.

Participants will master the fast drying time of acrylics, tackle dry brush and layering techniques  and learn how to build detail to achieve an atmospheric scene.

Having worked with acrylics for over 35 years I have learnt a lot about this versatile and exciting medium and I look forward to sharing some of my tips and techniques with you.

The workshop is suitable for anyone who is looking to try acrylics or who would like to learn some new ideas to take in to their own acrylic painting. Guidance is given throughout the day with the painting process broken down into easy to follow stages.

The workshop will be held at the Palais des Vaches studio which is surrounded by beautiful  countryside with plenty of inspiration from both nature and the artwork hanging in the galleries.

All materials and equipment are provided for the workshop.

 NB Lunch is not provided so you are recommended to bring a packed lunch.  Tea , coffee and biscuits are available through the day.
